María Bos
CEO PLUG
Maria Bos has 18 years of experience in innovation, digitalization, and strategy across the financial and renewable energy sectors. After leading the group strategy and sustainability division at Eviny, a prominent Norwegian renewable and technology company, she became the CEO of Plug, an Eviny-owned shore power company, in 2020.
Under her leadership, Plug has accelerated the development and deployment of shore power infrastructure, not only in Norway but also in other countries, helping to reduce emissions from the maritime industry.
Plug’s role spans the entire value chain, from designing and building to operating and investing in shore power projects, and the company has so far invested more than € 60 million in OPS and charging infrastructure. The first port Plug collaborated with was the Port of Bergen, where they have had responsibility for the daily operations of the OPS systems since 2018.
Maria holds a degree in strategic management and finance from the Norwegian School of Economics.
